Dr. Joerg Heuer is co-founder and CEO of the scale-up EcoG which provides the market leading operating system for EV DC chargers. Leading connected eMobility of Siemens AG since 2008 with his team he set three times the pace for the EV charging market, providing the first serial DC charger based on ISO15118 together with VW, defining the standard for automated charging of commercial vehicles, OPPCharge, in collaboration with Volvo Trucks and introducing high performance charging together with Porsche. To enable a scaling market, he has been actively driving the standardization for CCS charging and is currently speaker of focus group

communication at CharIN, the international industry association for EV charging.

Joerg holds a PhD in electrical engineering. He is an active advocate for electric mobility and convinced that EV charging is not fueling 2.0. Rather, EV charging seamlessly integrates in daily customer journeys and serves as a pillar for a sustainable electrical system.
